SCOPE-Zhongyu Environmental Awards - SCOPE and the Zhongyu Environmental Technology Corporation, Jiangsu, China have just inaugurated a joint 10-year Environmental Awards Programme.

Starting in 2010, environmental achievement awards will be discerned on a biennial basis to two scientists or experts who have made significant contributions to environmental sciences and technological advances or to the environmental technical innovation, on energy saving and emission reduction during their careers. Each year, three young researchers who have made outstanding achievements in the field of 1) environmental sciences, 2) environmental technology, and 3) environmental management will be recognised. SCOPE Member and Partner organisations may nominate candidates for the Awards (self nomination is not possible). In the évent you wish to nominate a candidate, we encourage  you to contact the focal point for SCOPE in your country or for your discipline.
